APARTMENT IN THE CLOUDS

APARTMENT IN THE CLOUDS

From Los Angeles to Powiśle. A space where two aesthetics come together in harmony.

Warsaw, Powiśle
110 m2

This iconic penthouse in Warsaw’s Powiśle district has long served as a backdrop for films and TV series, today it also functions as an exceptional private space.

A new stage of life, a new space - a project inspired by the owner’s memories and style.

The owner had a clear vision: combining Scandinavian simplicity with Californian aesthetics of the 1960s. Bogulski Studio carried out the project comprehensively, from concept to execution to final finishing, providing full support and attention to every detail.

This remarkable apartment in Warsaw’s Powiśle district, located between Wilanowska Street and Okrąg, was created for an entrepreneur from Sweden who, after 25 years in Los Angeles, decided to begin a new chapter in Poland.

A living space with Californian light. Height, brightness, and modernist forms - the heart of the apartment immersed in the spirit of the 1960s.

This 110 m² apartment spans two levels and includes two terraces. The impressive seven-meter ceilings and five-meter-high windows reveal a captivating panorama of Warsaw, giving the interior a remarkable sense of space.

The living area is defined by a 1960s-inspired aesthetic: the centerpiece is a Carl Hansen & Son dining set, complemented by sofas from 366 Concept that bring a Polish accent. Subtle Watsberg lamps complete the space, creating a warm yet elegant atmosphere.

The kitchen balances function and beauty, a space of daily rituals shaped by marble, steel, and wood.

Deeper into the space, a bespoke bar crafted from dark oak and stone houses a wine fridge and a glass display for stemware, bringing the charm of a French bistro into the apartment.

Designed to merge function with aesthetics, the kitchen combines Alpesinox stainless steel cabinetry with a Carrara marble island that also serves as a breakfast table.

Bespoke joinery crafted for everyday living, bringing function, rhythm, and a sense of cohesion to the interior.

Bespoke joinery is one of the project’s defining elements. The corridor, clad in oak veneer, extends into a softly curved double-door wardrobe, serving as a wardrobe from the hall and transforming into a discreet pantry from the kitchen side.

In the private quarters, Hästens beds ensure the highest standard of comfort. The 1960s aesthetic continues here, softened by a focus on tranquility and a serene atmosphere.

Bathrooms conceived as distinct microcosms. Different in character, yet each perfected to the finest detail.

The master bathroom features British Lusso fixtures, marble countertops, a mosaic stone floor, and bespoke cabinetry framed in rattan. Microcement walls introduce an industrial counterpoint to the classic elegance of the space.

The guest bathroom combines fluted Carrara marble with Moroccan tiles and a custom-made Corian sink. The result is a space that feels luxurious yet light, with a touch of effortless elegance.
